I want to learn Russian to broaden my understanding of socialist politics and the Russian culture. They sound alien to me having been raised in a democratic system & environment.
I would love to learn French and Italian. No particular reason. I just think they are both beautiful languages.
I think I would like to learn Portuguese and Italian. I was stationed in Sicily while I was in the Navy and I want to one day go back, and Portuguese just seems like a great language to know.
Italian
After Spanish I would learn either Italian or German. My mother's family is Italian and I grew up in an Italian neighborhood. I love italy for its culture and food. Learning German would be more of a challenge but would be a useful language to know in my travels. I've seen parts of Germany and would like to see more.
