Line-by-line audio transcript

Postby marcwilkenfeld9089 » May 24th, 2010 12:57 am

I just joined the site. I am finding problems with the line-by-line audio transcripts. Sometimes they do not play, sometimes they play the wrong lines...

Are these known problems? Is anyone else have these problems?

Thanks.

Marc

formal audio heard in informal dialog

Postby philburk » July 17th, 2010 4:07 pm

I just joined yesterday. I've only tried two lessons and both had line audio errors.

In Beginners lesson #2 and #3, the informal dialog lines had the audio from the formal dialog! I expected to hear "tu" but heard "usted".

Philburk,
I noticed that too, but I believe that the audio transcripts are only playing the conversation that the full audio lesson dialog is playing. Even though the the Line-by-Line audio has text for both formal and informal speech, the audio is the same. The text is just for reference.
As you go further into the lessons, a lot of the audio will be informal, and the formal speech will be "wrong" on the text.
