Eric: Spanish people tend to talk fast, and doing that means we end up using shorter words to talk about different things. |

Anna: finde |
Eric: literally meaning "end-of.” It is an abbreviation of |
Anna: fin de semana. |
Eric: So when it's used as a slang expression it means "weekend." |
