Eric: This is Must-Know Mexican Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 4. In this lesson you'll learn Using Superlatives.
Eric: Mexican people love to overreact so get ready to hear these types of expressions everywhere.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
Eric: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Laura: estoy muerto, estoy muerta
Laura: morir de sueño
Laura: morir de hambre
Laura: loco de remate
Eric: Laura, what's our first expression?
Laura: estoy muerto, estoy muerta
Eric: literally meaning "I'm dead." But when it's used as a slang expression it means "I'm very tired."
Laura: [SLOW] estoy muerto, estoy muerta [NORMAL] estoy muerto, estoy muerta
Eric: Listeners, please repeat.

Eric: Use this slang expression when you want to express that you are very tired in an informal setting.

Eric: "My teacher is insane, he gave us homework for the holidays."
