In Peru, more than eighty percent of the population is Catholic, which is why Peruvian houses usually have at least one religious image. This religious image could be of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, or a Saint. |

It’s common in Peru to use gas stoves, but since gas tubes are not yet that common Peruvians use gas tanks. These gas tanks are delivered to homes by gas companies. |

In Peru, drinking tap water is not that safe so usually Peruvians buy containers of clean, safe water. This water container is usually 20 liters. |

Even though they sell mortar and pestle kitchen appliances in Peru, in some Peruvian homes a more traditional type made of rock is used. The more traditional ones are usually passed down through the family. |
