| “What are you doing?” |

| “I'm writing my journal.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you doing?” |
| That's: ¿Qué haces? |
| Listen to it again: ¿Qué haces?, ¿Qué haces? |
| This Spanish sentence literally translates as “What do?" |
| But it means “What are you doing?” |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| Escribo [object]. |
| This Spanish sentence literally translates as “I write [object]." |
| But it means “I'm writing [object].” |
| For example: |
| “I'm writing my journal.” |
