| Listen to the dialogue. |
| Buen día, me gustaría hablar con la persona a cargo. |
| Si, un momento por favor. |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| Buen día, me gustaría hablar con la persona a cargo. |
| “Hello, I'd like to speak with the person in charge.” |
| Si, un momento por favor. |
| “Okay, just a moment.” |
| First of all, you'll need to learn how to say "hello" on the phone. |
| That's: |
| buen día, buen día |
| Then you need to learn how to say "I'd like to speak with [person]." |
| The pattern is: |
| Me gustaría hablar con [person]. |
| “I'd like to speak with [person]." |
| For example, |
| "Hello, I'd like to speak with the person in charge." |
| Buen día, me gustaría hablar con la persona a cargo., Buen día, me gustaría hablar con la persona a cargo. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |

| This Spanish sentence translates as "Yes, a moment please." |
