How do I download podcast direct to my phone?

I would like to use the built-in podcasts app on my iPhone to download my basic feed, but can't seem to get it to work. How do I make it work?

Hi Tnagpal,

Since the Basic feed needs your log-in information to access, you can first subscribe the Podcast feed on your iTunes, then sync all podcast to your iPhone. In that way, you can find the podcasts on the application.
